Goalkeeper Goodison bound
Everton are on the verge of signing Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall according to a number of reports, with the rumour mill going into over drive.
The Daily Star and the Liverpool Echo have been running the stories and fans are confident that the goalie is due in this week in a deal which could rise to £6m.
The 29 year old glovesman impressed in the Premier League last season with Cardiff and he has played 29 times in all competitions this season.
Everton are after a long term goalkeeper with number 1 Tim Howard out with an injury and likely to be going to the MLS at the end of the season and Joel Robles proving the only cover.

He will be a great signing, the kind of keeper we have needed for a couple of years now.
Excellent keeper, hope we get him! Tim Howard has been good over the years, but mistakes creeping into his game now!
Likely going to the MLS? He’s stating put, idiot!
Save this for the summer Gareth. If he doesn’t go then I will hold my hands up!
not sure about this one but will give him a chance tim as been great but is slowing down now and joel is not ready yet but has potential
