AAAARRRGGGGHHHH – How it feels to be an Everton Supporter

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

Supporting the blues is both a joy and severe frustration, it always has and probably always will be, we stand at the cusp of a magnificent season and the beginning of a new era, stylish football, dynamic young manager, strong team, riding high in the table, sold off a useless forward line who couldn’t buy a goal, realistic chance of challenging the top 4 despite the multi zillions spent by other competing clubs and youth prominent in the team.  This is surely one of those moments it is good to be a blue isn’t it?

    BUT

We’ve  a loaned in strike-force that will cost tens of millions to replace/keep, ageing players in key positions around the squad, an inability to add quality purchases employing  a dithery approach regarding buying players, which links us to several good players but allows time for other teams with more money to step in. A penchant for buying squad players rather than direct improvements to the first team. How often are we left thinking what could have been?

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Now is the time to strike, we have sold off our misfiring strike force, made millions on the back of a dodgy haircut, sit high in the league and our stock is as high as I have known in a long time so come on blues surprise us and bring in some real quality.

    SO FAR

    McGeady – AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

My fingers and toes are crossed as Roberto has been a breath of fresh air and even after his short tenure I must admit to having become a dreamer like him. Whilst discussing this with a friend I entered into an almost Kevin Keegan like rant, “I’d love it, love it if we beat them/signed him” etc. This is due to a new found enthusiasm brought on by all those positives I have mentioned.

Unfortunately we all know what happened to him and his team – AAAAA (I think you know the drill)

    1. Usually,I’d be pulling my hair out and silently screaming at the way the season had progressed.Strangely, this year,I am much more sanguine.I trust this administration to do the right thing, buy and sell the right players and prepare/pick the appropriate side for each match. So no Arrrrrrrrrggggghhhh! from me more like Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

    2. The most annoying thing for me is the speculation surrounding our star players – Baines is going to united, Arsenal will take Coleman, Chelsea will take Barclay etc – we are challenging for top 4 but still expected to sell our best players – and it is positioned as if we have no right to keep them and we are somehow holding them back – aaaaaaarggggg

    3. Aaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh – No matter what the circumstances, the glass will always be half empty, as opposed to half full for some people! I think this guy is more a supposer than a supporter!
