    Athletico Madrid Striker on Everton Watchlist

    According to CalcioMercato, Adrian Lopez of Atletico Madrid is a transfer target of Everton.

    The 25 year old Spaniard is also on the watchlist of Mauricio Pochettino with Southampton rumoured to have prepared an £8m bid.

    David Moyes is understood to have long admired the Atletico frontman who has represented Spain twice.  His goalscoring record in Spain is nothing to shout home about though having scored just 3 times this season.

    Lopez has already relinquished his place in the first team to Diego Costa, so a move appears to be on the cards.

    Reports in Spain suggest that Atletico Madrid are open to a quick sale and Lopez could go for as little as £8.5m.
