Coach praises much maligned Oumar Niasse
Everton under 23 manager David Unsworth has praised “Evertons worst ever signing” Oumar Niasse after the Senegal international scored in the 5-0 win over Arsenal.
Niasse has been playing with the under 23’s after being dropped from the main squad after not being given a shirt number following Ronald Koemans arrival.
Unsworth said: “I also thought Oumar was outstanding. His work-rate since he has been with us for the last few weeks has been incredible. He’s a had a disappointment – that’s football – but he has shown tonight that there is a player there.
“I was absolutely delighted that he got his goal and it was thoroughly deserved because it was a great individual performance.”

Time to give Oumar a chance…….without Rom we don’t seem to have a goal threat
