    Connolly notches twice after sealing Wigan loan move

    Callum Connolly had a dream debut for Wigan Athletic scoring twice in a debut against Burton Albion after sealing a move to the Championship club earlier in the day.

    The England under 19 player scored just before half-time and then added a second on 64 minutes to help Wigan to a 2-0 victory.

    Connolly made his Everton debut as a substitute against Southampton last season.
