    Defender wants Everton move – waiting for bid

    Manchester United defender Jonny Evans is stalling on a move to West Bromwich Albion to wait for a move from Everton according to the Daily Mail.

    The 27 year old Northern Irish centre-back believes that Everton are interested in signing him and will hold off until the final minutes of the transfer window before assessing his options.

    West Brom have announced that former blue Joleon Lescott can leave the club if they sign another defender and Evans tops that list.

    Everton are in the market for another defender and are close to signing Funes Mori from River Plate.
