    Duffy set to start against Reading

    Shane Duffy is set to make his first appearance of the 2013/14 season on Monday evening.

    The centre-half has been named in the Everton Under-21s starting line-up ahead for the home clash with Reading (7pm kick-off).

    The 21-year-old is joined in Alan Stubbs’ by the likes of Tyias Browning, Conor Grant and John Lundstram, with Francisco Junior missing from midfield after his season-long loan move to Vitesse Arnhem.

    On the bench, Ryan Ledson returns from England Under-17 duty, while there’s a place for George Green after the youngster netted a brace for Everton Under-18s at the weekend.

    Entry is free for Everton and Southport Season Ticket holders as well as FOREVERTON members, with admission on the gate otherwise priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

    Everton Under-21s (to face Reading): Taudul, Garbutt, Browning, Duffy, Pennington, McLaughlin, Kenny, Lundstram, Grant, Hope, Long.
