Everton and Arsenal linked to 20 goal French international
Everton have today been linked again to Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette who has scored 20 goals for the ligue 1 side this season.
The France international is being linked to a host of top European clubs with Everton, Arsenal and Juventus being linked. Merseyside rivals Liverpool are also linked to the player alongside Newcastle who hope to add to their French contingent.
Lacazette has represented his country at all levels and has played for the full national team twice so far in his career.
The 22 year old has recently revealed that the lure of Juventus may be too big a move to resist, saying: “Would I like to play for Juventus? I’d be a liar if I said no,” he continued “I’m tempted to try and experience abroad at a big club. And Juventus are one of the greatest clubs in Europe.
“Are Arsenal and Liverpool interested in me? I repeat that an experience in another major championship fascinates me. But for now I just think of doing well for Lyon, the club where I have grown up.
“My contract expires in 2016, so we must see what the president [Jean-Michel] Aulas will say and decide.”
