Everton and Arsenal looking to sign the new Lukaku – Michy Batshuayi
Everton are interested in signing Standard Liege hot-shot Michy Batshuayi.
Batshuayi has been interesting Everton boss Roberto Martinez and the club have sent scouts to watch the player. The striker has been linked with Arsenal and Swansea in an £8m move over the last couple of days and a mystery Premier League club is looking to buy the player and then loan him to Anderlecht according to Belgian newspaper Het Laatste
The 20 year old has taken the Belgian league by storm scoring 15 goals in all competitions this season and is attracting interest from all over the world.
Arsenal look to be in pole position after the player recently commented on a move to the English Premier League: “I don’t think I think will be playing in Belgium next season. My parents, especially my dad, think I’m ready for the next step.
“This summer there was some interest, but I decided I didn’t want to leave Standard without leaving a trace – being champion or being top scorer.
“I’ve two dreams clubs in Europe – Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund. Borussia because of their mix between quality and spirit, Arsenal because they give opportunities to young and talented players.”
