Everton and Aston Villa are being linked with a move for Joleon Lescott in January according to French football website Football.fr
The report states that Lescott was originally destined to leave Manchester City over the summer, but injuries to Matija Nastasic and Vincent Kompany meant that this wasn’t possible.
Lescott will have 6 months left on his contract in January and is known to be an Aston Villa fan as a kid, but it is Everton that may prove to be a decent move with Lescott having played for the club from 2006 and 2009 and forcing his way into the England set up.
Would Lescott be a decent purchase for Everton or should players never go back? Have your say at www.theevertonforum.com
