Everton could be set to sign Barcelona’s young attacking Midfielder Rafinha on loan. The Brazilian is the younger brother of Thiago Alcantara, who is wanted by ex-Everton boss David Moyes at Manchester United according to the Mirror
Alcantara’s influential ex-Brazil international dad Mazinho thinks he should join United ahead of City, Bayern Munich and latecomers Chelsea this week. This is prompting the young Brazilian to be linked with a move to Goodison on loan so the family can relocate to the north-west, where they can all live together.
There is also talk of Rafinha being signed by United to push through the move for Thiago.
Chelsea and Arsenal are also keen on Rafinha, as well as brilliant Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu who is also being sent out on loan for a year for experience.
Rafa Alcantara was born in Sao Paulo, but joined Barcelona’s youth set up at the age of 13. He played in the Spanish youth set up until this summer, where he is representing Brazil at the Under 20’s youth championship in Argentina.
