    CRYSTAL PALACE and Everton are chasing Austria striker Philipp Hosiner, 24. The Vienna star is rated at £4m according to the Daily Star

    The 24-year-old striker has emerged as one of the hottest young strikers in Europe this summer, having bagged a remarkable 27 goals in 27 league starts and finishing as the top scorer in the Austrian Bundesliga for Austria Vienna.

    Hosiner began his career in 1860 Munich’s youth set-up before he returned to his homeland where he has excelled.

    Now the Austrian international has a number of Premier League and Championship clubs taking a keen interest in Hosiner – whose progress this season has been outstanding since he joined Vienna from Admira Wacker.
