Everton and Swansea City chase young winger
Everton and Swansea City look to be in a battle to sign Portuguese winger Diogo Viana according to The Mirror
23 year old Viana who plays for Gil Vicente in the Portuguese Primeira Liga has been in impressive form this season after signing in the summer, playing 8 times and scoring once. He has helped the team to 4th in the table behind the normal big 3 Benfica, Porto and Sporting Lisbon.
Everton were linked with the player in the summer but no move materialised and the player himself could have moved to Blackburn, but boss Gary Bowyer pulled the plug at the last minute.
£4.2m is the figure being bandied around for a deal, although it is expected that a much smaller fee would be applicable if the club do make a move.
Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup is also thought to be interested in the player.
