Everton and West Ham chase Icelandic goal machine
Everton are again in the chase for Icelandic striker Alfred Finnbogason. Everton were linked with the prolific hitman in the last transfer window and could now be set to spark a £2m auction according to the Mirror.
According to the paper West Ham are also interested in the Heerenveen striker who scored 24 gals in 33 games last season and has hit the ground running with 14 goals in 13 this season until injury halted his progress.
Finnbogason joined from Helsingborgs in Sweden a year and a half ago and has previously played for Lokeren in Belgium.
Sunderland and Aston Villa have also shown an interest in the past, but Everton have recently sent scouts to watch the tall hitman and Roberto Martinez is believed to want to make a move and provide cover for Romelu Lukaku with Nikica Jelavic likely to move on from the toffees.

I hate these players being hawked by their agents. The British press should know better. But,then perhaps it sells papers. Not to me.
