    Everton Announce Pre-Season Plans

    Everton have announced that the team will travel to Germany to play in the Dresden Cup as part of 16/17 pre-season schedule.

    Other teams confirmed to be taking part in the 4 team tournament are Werder Bremen, Dynamo Dresden and Real Betis. Everton’s first match will be on Friday 29th July against hosts Dynamo Dresden at the DDV-Stadium which has a capacity of 32,000.

    Everton will then face either Werder Bremen or Real Betis on Saturday 30th July.

    Real Betis are expected to secure a mid-table finish as the Spanish league draws to a close this weekend whilst Werder Bremen are playing for their top division future in Bundesliga as they currently lie in the relegation places with one game left.

    Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 18th May. It is expected that Everton will announce details of further pre-season friendly matches in the forthcoming weeks as this season draws to a close.
