Everton have renewed interest in Derby County’s teenage midfield sensation Will Hughes according to reports in the national press.
The toffees have long been linked with the talented youngster and last year we brought a story that the club were going to make the first moves in the summer transfer window.
Former Derby County manager Nigel Clough hinted to the press last year that £6m would be enough to get the midfielder on top of add-ons, but after a string of brilliant performances including running the game against Sheffield Wednesday lastnight and scoring, his price is looking to be back up to around the £10m plus add-ons mark.
It is understood that Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are all courting the 18 year old midfielder, but it is thought that Roberto Martinez will look to fill the void left by the injury that Darron Gibson suffered that will keep him out for the season and Hughes could fulfil that role.
