Everton beat Manchester United in race to sign young starlet
Exciting young Irish winger Stephen Kinsella has finally put pen to paper on a deal with the blues following the announcement of his signing for the Everton academy last month.
The 15 year old signs in from Templelogue United in Dublin and chose the blues over Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
Kinsella has already represented the Republic of Ireland at under 17 level and joins Aiden McGeady, Darron Gibson, Seamus Coleman, James McCarthy and Shane Duffy in swelling the Irish ranks at Everton.
The youngster will join the blues on a two year scholarship ahead of the 2014/15 season.
Everton academy manager Alan Irvine told evertonfc.com: “I am delighted Stephen will be joining us. He is a very talented player who was wanted by many other Clubs and who has decided to come to Everton.
“He’s a winger who has the ability to go past players and we are very much looking forward to working with him.”
