    Everton have bid €45m for Mexico striker, club want more

    Everton have bid €45m for Benfica striker Raul Jimenez according to Portuguese newspaper Record, but his club want €50m to match the offer they received from China in January.

    The 26 year old Mexico striker has been on the wanted list of West Ham United and Liverpool and the paper broke the story a couple of days ago that a bid had been received and it was expect to be from either of these 2 clubs.

    Today they have announced that the bid was from Everton and the blues are hoping to land the striker that scored 1 goal in 3 appearances at the confederations cup.

    The striker scored 7 goals in 6 starts last season, but had another 13 appearances from the bench to reach this figure.

    Would Jimenez be a good signing for Everton?

    1. 45m euros for those stats, don’t think so! Giroud would be good! And Jorgenson 28 goals this season for Feyenoord, excellent stats & has international experience with Denmark!
