    Everton and Wigan are set to go head-to-head to secure Manchester United’s Angelo Henriquez on a temporary deal, according to Sports Direct News.

    The Chilean forward spent half of last season on loan at the DW Stadium under former Wigan boss Roberto Martinez, who has now taken over at Everton.

    The 19-year-old, who joined United from Universidad de Chile last summer, was keen on returning to the Latics despite their relegation to the Championship as he searches for regular first team football.

    However, Martinez is a big fan of the striker and will attempt to bring him to Goodison Park on loan.

    Hernandez now has to decide whether he wants to stay in the Premier League with Everton and risk spending more time on the bench or move down to the second tier and have a better chance of more playing time.
