Everton chasing Befetimbi Gomis and Gueida Fofana
Everton are interested in signing Lyon pair Bafetimbi Gomis and Gueida Fofana according to the Daily Mail.
Striker Gomis has endured a strained time at the French club and with less than 6 months left on his contract, Lyon may cash in if a £3m offer arises. The 28 year old has scored 12 goals in 21 games in all competitions this season and had been set to join Newcastle United, but they grew tired of negotiations and have switched their targets.
Gomis has played 12 times for France scoring 3 times.
The article also says that Everton manager Roberto Martinez is also interested in Gueida Fofana on loan as he requires some extra bodies in a defensive midfield position but they don’t seem willing to deal until the summer.
22 year old Fofana has played 20 games for Lyon this season.

Gomis would be ideal, we need a decent striker in NOW! 12 goals in 21 is very good! Don’t know much about Fofana!
Can’t afford it, skinterton.
Load of nonsense. Fofana signed a new long term contract last week and we are not after Gomis.
