    Everton chasing in-demand Manchester United midfielder

    Everton are looking to do a deal with Manchester United for out of favour midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger according to British newspaper reports including the Daily Star.

    The 32 year old former Bayern Munich midfielder is out of favour at Old Trafford, but is in high demand across Europe as clubs look to acquire his services.

    Everton will attempt a loan move for the former German international as they look to provide cover in midfield and Schweinsteiger is thought to have the experience that Ronald Koeman requires.

    Schweinsteiger has been frozen out of the first team at Manchester United by current boss Jose Mourinho and they are looking to move the German player on in the winter window.
