    Everton chasing shock Samuel Eto’o transfer?

    Everton are chasing the shock signature of veteran striker Samuel Eto’o following the expiration of his contract at Chelsea according to Italian sports outlet Tutto Mercato.

    According to the report Everton officials have met with the Cameroonians representatives in London about signing the former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker.

    The 33 year old played 21 times for Chelsea scoring 9 goals and has also been linked with moves to Beskitas, Galatasaray, AS Monaco and Guangzhou in China.

    It is unlikely that Everton will sign the former African player of the year, but it would certainly be a high profile coup if they could even at 33.
