The 20 year old Nigerian is hot property at the moment and has been linked to moves to West Ham United, Birmingham, Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion, but Everton look to have stolen a march on their rivals and began talks.
Onyekuru ended the season strongly in Belgium, scoring 10 goals in 10 games during the play-off stage in the domestic league.
And having scored 12 times during the regular season, Onyekuru missed out on the ‘Golden Bull’ to RSC Anderlecht forward Lukasz Teodorczyk, who scored more away goals that the KAS Eupen striker.
Would Onyekuru prove a bit of a coup for Everton?
