Everton have completed the signing of Jindrich Stanek from Sparta Prague.
Taken from the Everton website:
The 17-year-old, who stands at 6ft 4in tall, joins the Blues for an undisclosed fee and has put pen-to-paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal which will keep him on Merseyside until the end of the 2015/16 season.
An Under-19 international, Stanek is yet to make a senior appearance at club level, though he was an unused substitute earlier this season for games against Slovan Liberac, FK Teplice and Sigma Olomouc in the Czech top-flight.
The acquisition of Stanek further strengthens the Club’s goalkeeping department, which is currently stocked with senior professionals Tim Howard and Joel Robles, along with youngsters Mateusz Taudul, Mason Springthorpe and Russell Griffiths.
