Spanish side Sevilla will issue a ‘hands off’ warning to Everton as the Blues look to bid for Carlos Bacca.
Bacca joined Sevilla last summer and has instantly become one of the better La Liga strikers this season after some impressive performances and 14 goals and eight assists in the league.
He scored two goals against Real Madrid that saw Carlo Ancelotti’s side beaten, which has seen him gain heavy interest from a number of European clubs, including Everton.
It is understood that Roberto Martinez’s interest have gained pace in recent days with a bid of around £9 million expected this summer as he looks to replace Romelu Lukaku, who looks extremely likely not to make his loan spell a permanent one at Goodison Park.
However, Football Direct News report that Sevilla will issue a ‘hands off’ warning to any club who makes a move.
The Colombian striker has a current contract with the Andalusian club until 2018.
