Everton have joined Aston Villa and West Ham in scouting Heerenveen striker Alfred Finnbogason according to the Daily Mail.
The 24-year-old Iceland international has scored 19 goals in 22 games for the Dutch side this season.
Finnbogason joined from Helsingborgs in Sweden in the summer and has previously played for Lokeren in Belgium.
Finnbogason has 11 caps and 5 goals playing for Iceland Under 21’s and has been prolific in his career scoring 65 goals in 106 games at club level. This could be seen as a shrewd move by Everton should it come off.
