    Everton eyeing former Liverpool star

    Everton are being linked with a rather strange move for former Liverpool and Chelsea star Raul Meireles according to the Turkish Football website and Turkish Newspaper Taksim.

    The 32 year old is our of contract with his current club Fenerbahce but could be on his way out the club if any side can match of better his $3m per year contract.

    West Ham United have also been linked with the midfielder who has won 2 league cups and the league in Turkey.

    Meireles has played 18 times in the Turkish Super Lig this season scoring once.
