    Everton face Arsenal and Monaco battle for young England striker

    Everton are set to go head to head against Monaco and Arsenal for West Brom’s England Under 21 striker Saido Berahino.

    Exotically named striker Berahino rose to prominence after a sublime goal against Manchester United and followed that up with his second ever Premier League goal at the weekend in the 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.  That goal took Berahino’s tally to 6 goals in all competitions.

    Speculation is rife over the player who earns just £850 per week at the West Midlands club and recently rejected a £6150 per week payrise, which could see the player seeking a pay day bonus elsewhere.

    Roberto Martinez is in the hunt for a young striker, knowing that Romelu Lukaku is likely to go back to parent club Chelsea at the end of the season.
