Stoke and Everton are gearing up for a summer battle for the signature of FC Copenhagen youngster Andreas Cornelius, 20, according to The Daily Mail.
The two clubs are both known to be admirers of the player and look set to bring him to the Premier League once the transfer window re-opens.
6ft 4in, Cornelius is expected to have a bright future in the game and recently netted his first international goal for Denmark against the Czech Republic.
Stoke are keen to bring in a new striker this summer after a paltry return this season of just twenty eight goals in 32 games.
Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United have also monitored his progress but are unlikely to bid at this stage.
It may be difficult to tempt the young striker with Copenhagen making the Champions League next season.
