Everton are locked in a three-way battle with Valencia and Sevilla to land France international Kevin Gameiro according to TalkSport.
The striker, 25, has fallen down the pecking order at Paris St-Germain following the arrivals of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ezequiel Lavezzi last summer.
Despite his diminished first-team role – he’s only made four league starts this term – he’s managed to score seven goals in all competitions, leading to interest from across Europe.
David Moyes has been linked with the striker over the last few transfer windows and is known to be keen. Liverpool tried and failed to bring Gameiro to Anfield in January, and it is unclear if they will revive their interest in the summer.
But according to Estadio Deportivo, Everton are keen to lure him to Merseyside – although they will face stiff competition from Valencia and Sevilla to secure his signature.
Gamiero is only slight in stature standing at only 5ft 7, but he knows where the net is having notched 50 goals in only 108 appearances for Lorient. Since joining PSG in 2011, Kev has scored 17 goals in 53 games and for France he has scored once in 8 appearances.
