Everton in fresh Austin transfer link
Everton are once again being linked with a move for Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin, this time by John Cross in the Daily Mirror.
The powerful English striker is all set to leave the relegated Londoners and a host of clubs including Leicester, Newcastle United, Southampton and Aston Villa are all interested in signing the striker.
The 26 year old had a fantastic first season in the Premier League scoring 18 goals last season.
QPR manager Chris Ramsey told talkSPORT: “We have to be realistic. It’s unlikely he’ll stay. We want to keep him, but it’s unlikely.
“The club is in a financial position that it needs to recoup some money and I think for his ambitions he wants to keep playing in the Premier League to go to the Euros.”
Would Charlie Austin be a good signing for Everton?

I wish this was true.
everton pay £15mil for Austin I doubt that very much , there still in shock after the lukaku transfer , the way this club is being run at the moment is a disaster , after watching arsenal take them apart I really fear for them next season
Thomas you are spot on, we are stagnating on and off the pitch, the Manager doesn’t seem to have a clue.
They say you have to spend just to stay still in this league, well we’re going backwards.
Charlie Austin would be a fantastic signing and give big Rom great support & competition. Just get it done Roberto!!!
Get it sorted ASAP Roberto, we desperately need an alternative to moodyarse Lukaku, then see if you can pay someone to take Kone and McGeady off our hands.
Did we really pay £6m for that useless lump ?
