    Everton interest in Norwegian intensifies

    Everton have intensified their interest in Stromsgodset midfielder Stefan Johansen according to SportsDirect News

    We reported stories of the Toffees’ interest in the 22-year-old in June, and Roberto Martinez is now ready to table an official bid for the star.

    Johansen has been capped up to Under-23 level for Norway, and has made over 50 appearances for Stromsgodset.

    He is rated at around £1.5 million by the Tippeligaen outfit but, with his contract expiring at the end of the year, Martinez is hopeful he can negotiate a lower fee.
