    Everton interested in exciting 21 year old defender

    Everton are still in the hunt to sign Uruguayan defender Mauricio Lemos according to Spanish paper Marca.

    The 21 year old Las Palmas defender is also on the hitlist of Inter Milan and Roma and in the past has interested Manchester City and Barcelona.

    The young defender is highly thought of in the game and has a €30m release clause, although the report says that the club is open to offers from €20m.

    Lemos scored 5 goals last season in 29 starts for the Canarian team.
