    Everton interested in 6ft 8in Free Transfer

    Everton are interested in former Manchester City back up goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon according to football website Sport in a Storm.

    The 6ft 8 inch goalie is available on a free transfer following his release by City and the 27 year old could be seen as strong back up to current number 1 keeper Tim Howard.

    Romanian international Pantilimon has a number of options following his release but he is thought to want to be a number one to enhance his chances with his national squad for whom he has made 18 appearances.

    The big keeper made only 7 appearances for City over a 2 year period following his reported £3m move to City.
