Everton manager Roberto Martinez is believed to be interested in signing wantaway Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Mohamed Sissoko as he looks to strengthen his side ahead of the new season.
Martinez has already completed deals for former Wigan duo Aroune Kone and Antolin Alcaraz, while Joel Robles arrived from Atletico Madrid and Gerard Deulofeu on a season-long loan from Barcelona.
Now France Football are reporting that Everton are keen on landing former Liverpool midfielder Sissoko, who is also attracting interest from Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
Sissoko played more than 70 times for Juventus before moving to PSG for around €8m, making 25 league appearances in his first season for the Parisian club before returning to Italy on loan with Fiorentina.
PSG are said to be prepared to allow the defensive midfielder to leave the club and it seems he could be allowed a return to Merseyside.
