Everton are considering a cut-price deal for Manchester City flop Scott Sinclair reports the Daily Star, who has failed to make an impact at the Etihad Stadium this season.
Sinclair arrived from Swansea last summer in a £6 million deal but has made just eight Premier League appearances for the club – six as a substitute – and was not even in the matchday squad for last weekend’s FA Cup win over Leeds.
The 23-year-old is settled in the north west, where he lives with actress girlfriend Helen Flanagan, and wants to stay in the area after being told he can leave City.
Everton considered a loan move for Sinclair in January and could revive their interest in a permanent transfer – although City will look to recoup as much of the £6m they paid as possible.
