Everton interested in Spurs Nacer Chadli
Everton manager Roberto Martinez is interested in Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli according to the Sunday Mirror.
The Belgium wingers representative Daniel Evrard recently went on record (before Chadli started for Spurs at Swansea) to say that Chadli would need to seek a move away to protect his World Cup place.
“His situation is not easy at Tottenham at the moment. The World Cup is arriving so it’s a problem,” Evrard told the London Evening Standard.
“For him to play at the World Cup it’s important so why not a loan? We haven’t spoken to Tottenham yet but I know there are clubs interested in him.
“There are a lot of players in the same situation who are not in the team and they want to play in the World Cup so there is a market for a lot of clubs.
“It’s important for him not to take any risks by going to a country he doesn’t know well.”
Despite not getting into the Tottenham team, Chadli is an important member of the Belgians Red Devils squad and will go to the World Cup looking to win the competition and he may see a move to Everton to link up with compatriots Kevin Mirallas and Romelu Lukaku.
Chadli only signed for Spurs in the summer for £7m from Dutch club FC Twente but has so far struggled to maintain a starting place in the Tottenham first team due to the fact the London club have around 17864365 midfielders on their books.
Everton have also been linked with Spurs midfielder and Everton fan Lewis Holtby who signed for Spurs from Schalke for a bargain £1.75m a year ago.

Given a choice I’d take Holtby every time.we can’t take any more loan players can we? Unless of course we buy GB’s contract out now,or Romelu’s.Not very likely. Moyes should have snapped up a couple of players, really, who have gone on to other Prem outfits.Holtby and Fer are uppermost and proving their value and effectiveness.
