    Everton interested in signing Silva

    Everton are interested in signing Sporting Lisbon star Adrien Silva according to Portuguese newspaper Record.

    The paper states that Everton have identified the Portugal star as the man to lead their midfield, whilst maintaining an interest in his team mate William Carvalho.

    The 27 year old was part of the Portuguese Euro2016 squad that won the tournament and is rumoured to have a release clause in his contract of €45m.

    Everton are looking to add some much needed craft and guile to their midfield and have been linked with a number of players in this position including Carvalho and Axel Witsel.
