Johnny Heitinga is wanted by Fiorentina according to the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The Dutchman who is out of contract in the summer has fairly much been frozen out of the first eleven by Sylvain Distin and Phil Jagielka and with the emergence of talented youngster, John Stones, Heitinga is looking for a cut price move to the Italians.
Heitinga has long been linked with a move to Turkey but it is thought that his wage demands scuppered any move away, with the defender currently on more than £65,000 per week at Everton.
The player who signed from Atletico Madrid in 2009 has made the Everton bench 8 times this year but has been an unused substitute in all the matches. John was Evertons player of the season 2 years ago, but increased dissatisfaction at his performances from the Goodison faithful has seen a more unhappy time of late. Heitinga has made 114 appearances for the club, scoring 2 goals.

I think its time for Johnny to leave Goodison. Martinez will be looking for a long term replacement for Distin in the Summer so theres no place for him.
Sorry he is just not good enough , he make too many mistakes
and the continual stories of wanting away have not helped , the £65,000 a week can be better spent,
