    Everton join race for in demand Mexican

    Everton have joined Fenerbahce in the race for in demand Porto defender Miguel Layun according to A Bola.

    The 29 year old Mexican defender joined Porto from Premier League club Watford in 2015 and scored his only goal for the club against Everton.

    The defender has lost his place in the side recently and is now being linked with a move away with the Turkish club leading the charge.

    Everton are in the hunt for a left back and the 5ft 10 international may fit the bill as a short term option.
