    Everton keen on Napoli striker

    Everton manager Roberto Martinez is keen on signing Napoli’s young striker Lorenzo Insigne according to reports in Italy including il Mattino.

    The 22 year old has scored only twice in 34 appearances this season in Serie A, but that hasn’t stopped the Everton boss from spotting something of interest.

    Other Premier League teams are chasing his signature aswell as Italian club Fiorentina.

    The Naples born striker has played 4 times for the full Italian team and scored once and had been prolific when on loan before this season having scored 37 goals in 2 seasons during loan spells at Foggia and Pescara.

    Insigne is also capable of playing on the wing, which is a trait that Martinez likes in his attackers.
