Everton launch loan to buy move for Spanish prodigy
Everton have enquired about Valencia’s Spanish playmaker Sergio Canales on loan with an option to buy according to the Sunday People.
Canales has been frozen out of the Valencia manager Juan Antonio Pizzi’s first eleven this season, starting just 7 games and coming on as a sub for 12 and is looking to join a club on loan for the rest of the season.
The former Real Madrid man had been linked on various Everton Forums, so the link may have been taken from here, but the player is still highly regarded in Spain.
Real Betis, Real Sociedad and Malaga are also linked to the player that has represented Spain at all levels except full international honours, but according to the report Canales isn’t keen to join them.
Following the loan it is believed that a £4m offer would land the midfielder.
