    Everton line up 23 year old centre-back to shore up leaky defence

    Everton are planning a summer move for Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson should they lose John Stones according to the Daily Mirror.

    The 23 year old centre-back is highly rated by the Championship club and has helped them to one of the best defensive records in the league as they chase a place in the Premier League.

    West Brom are also looking at the defender who is rated at £4m and could replace Stones who looks set to leave Goodison Park.
