    Everton linked to Arsenal target

    Everton are being linked in a number of papers to Atletico Madrid midfielder Josuha Guilavogui.

    The Daily Star and the Daily Mail are both running with the story and the France international who has also been linked to Arsenal and Newcastle United would welcome a move away from Spain where he has suffered a torrid time.

    Guilavogui joined the Spaniards in September last year in a fee of around £8m but played just once after joining before being loaned back to French club Saint-Etienne.

    The 23 year old French international could well be available in a cut price deal from the Spanish champions and Everton could be the perfect club to try and jump start his career.  Guilavogui has been likened to Arsenal star Patrick Viera but is very raw and would require some coaching, but whether a move is on loan or for a fee, Roberto Martinez may be the perfect man for the job.
