Everton linked to Hull City’s Curtis Davies
Roberto Martinez is keen to strengthen his defence with the signing of Hull City centre-back Curtis Davies according to the Sunday People.
Davies has been in brilliant form for Hull City since signing from Birmingham City where he was a rock at the heart of the Brum defence.
The under-rated 28 year old only signed for Hull City in the summer for a fee reported to be £2.25m and has helped to stabilise a Hull team performing well in their first season back in the Premier League under Steve Bruce.
Martinez is thought to want further cover for the Everton back line with Johnny Heitinga likely to be sold, Shane Duffy on loan at Yeovil Town, Antolin Alcaraz spending more time on the treatment table than pitch leaving John Stones as the main cover for Phil Jagielka and Sylvain Distin.
Personally, we at MyEvertonNews don’t believe a word of it.
