    Everton linked with Arsenal target

    Everton have been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool target Federico Fazio who plays for Spanish side Sevilla according to the Daily Mail.

    The 6ft 5in central defender is an Argentine international and has been a long term target for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, buy Everton boss Roberto Martinez is looking for a long term replacement for veteran defender Sylvain Distin.

    Fazio has only played 15 times in the league this season due to injuries but has scored 2 goals and has impressed with his defensive displays and style on the ball.

    The 26 year old has played twice for his country but also helped Argentina win the Under 20’s world cup when he represented that age group.

    Sevilla are thought to want his full release clause to sell him which is rumoured to be £7.8m.
