Everton are set to offer a contract to right-back Tomas Rincon after his time at Hamburg has come to an end. The player’s contract expires at the end of June and he has been linked with a move to England. Everton, Cardiff City and Fulham were chasing the Venezuelan international in the January transfer window but with the latter two dropping into the championship Everton will have an advantage in landing the player.
Rincon has had a productive season and has played a vital part in the relegation escape of Hamburg’s season.
It was well known that Rincon was on the move and it has been earlier reported that Everton have had scouts to watch over him, and it looks as if the Merseyside club are set to offer a contract to bring the defender to Goodison Park.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez has recently said that business may be left up until the final day of the transfer window, however free contracts are an easier process and Rincon, among others such as Albrighton, could see early entries to the Everton squad over the summer.
