    Everton looking to Arsenal for defensive replacements

    Everton are looking towards premier league rivals Arsenal to bolster their defensive line as Roberto Martinez keeps an eye on Calum Chambers according to the Daily Mirror.

    Martinez is preparing for a bulk of offers for star defender John Stones as Chelsea and Manchester United look to strengthen their defences.

    Chambers joined Arsenal in the summer of 2014, but has found it hard to nail down a first team spot with competition for places and injuries proving hard to overcome.

    The defender has played for England 3 times and aswell as central defence, can also play at right-back.

    Could Everton tempt Chambers to Goodison Park?

    1. It is all just paper talk isn’t it? We are not in any desperate need surely,even if Stones is lured away in the new year. Mori has been impressive.Jags is near to a return. Galloway is also in the wings. I would even consider offering Our Jack the opportunity to rebuild his career in his previous centre back position if he fancied it. But have Arsenal got much to offer in terms of defenders? That seems to be their Achilles heel to my eyes
