    Everton make Dries Mertens Enquiry

    Everton manager Roberto Martinez has made an enquiry for Belgian playmaker Dries Mertens according to Belgian Football Expert Kristof Terreur on twitter.

    Mertens looks set to leave Napoli this summer and has been told that he can leave for a fee of around £10m.  He would fit the number 10 play maker that Martinez has talked about.

    The 28 year old can operate in a number of positions including as a number 10 and winger and is part of the new breed of Belgian footballer who have made it to number 2 in the FIFA World Rankings.

    Martens played 31 times in Serie A last season scoring 6 times and adding 7 assists.
