    Everton could make a transfer move for Riyad Mahrez

    Everton could be set to make a move for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez according to a report on Squawka.

    According to the report, Arsenal – who were heavily linked with the winger – are not interested in signing the Algerian playmaker and Everton are very interested in making a move.

    It is understood that Steve Walsh, who signed him for Leicester, is interested in bringing the tricky winger to Goodison Park and could pay premium money to do so.

    Mahrez signed for Leicester from Le Havre and scored 17 Premier League goals last season and provided 11 assists.

    Leicester signed the 25 year old for a fee thought to be around £400,000 nearly 3 years ago.

    Would Mahrez be a good signing for Everton?

    3. Hahahahaha Everton are going to try and sign Riyad Mahrez. So you think your in with a chance?? Riyad Mahrez is going to leave Leicester City who won the Premier League last season and are in the Champions League for a team that finished in the bottom half of the table and are not in the champions league, your having a laugh ain’t you there’s no comparison pmsl!!! Also last season we did the double over you and each time played you off the park so in my opinion as a Leicester Citt fan of 36 years is if Riyad Mahrez went to Everton it would be a MASSIVE step backwards as my club is on the way up defending their premier league title and surprising a few people whereas Everton and Steve Walsh have a massive job of trying to attract quality players to the club. Will look forward to another season of looking down at you in the league pmsl!!!!!

    4. What a load of bollocks, Mahrez to Everton is absolutely laughable!

      Not only would he NEVER leave Leicester for Everton, one of the major factors in Walsh joining Everton was that they wouldn’t be allowed to sign ANY Leicester players for a “period of time”. Seriously where do people get this bullshit from????

    5. Except that one of the conditions of Steve Walsh joining Everton is that they would not be allowed to sign any Leicester players. No story here, move along please.
